Associate/Sr. Associate, Community Marketing (Influencer)

Her Campus Media is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate of Community Marketing who specializes in influencer and ambassador programs to join our team full time. This person will play a critical role in the execution and performance of our influencer marketing campaigns including but not limited to digital, ambassadorships, sampling, and experiential while also providing thoughtful, strategic recommendations, insights and support throughout the entire campaign process.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Serve as the strategic community lead main point of contact for influencers or student leaders who participate in campaigns with our brand partners from start to finish
  • Create, promote and vet influencer applications for community campaigns, identifying target influencers for projects and conducting outreach and follow-ups as needed
  • Develop campaign briefs and guidelines for participating influencers (including timelines, messaging and requirements for their scope of work) based on client guidelines 
  • Review influencer content before it is published, ensuring it adheres to all FTC and client requirements
  • Monitor and track contracted content as it is published, ensuring all participating creators are following guidelines and timelines, requesting edits when needed
  • Manage and process influencer agreements and payments in a timely fashion in collaboration with Community department leadership and the legal and finance teams
  • Collaborate with the Integrated Marketing and Business Development teams to ensure excellent campaign execution, providing best-in-class influencer marketing counsel specific to brand, target, consumer and marketing objectives as needed
  • Stay abreast of influencer marketing trends and culture, assisting in the development of new resources, optimizations and efficiencies for our campaign processes and materials on an ongoing basis
  • Help strategize and execute innovative sponsored opportunities and influencer education initiatives as led by the Community Management team, may include speaking opportunities
  • Update and maintain internal databases and case studies with key information for assigned campaigns
  • Potential to manage entry-level employees in addition to interns
