Freelance Jr Designer

About

Looking for an energetic, self-starting junior to mid-level graphic designer & creative thinker to join our Studio team, working on a range of projects from creative inception, through pitch phase, into design development and production. This position is for on-site only, working from our West Village NYC office. 

IDEAL CANDIDATE IS: 

- Motivated, hands-on, great eye for visual composition; 

- Capable self-starter willing to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a healthy work ethic & design process; 

- Passionate about formal design quality, mechanical design details, and attention to layout & typography; 

- Actively interested in Site-Specific/Experiential Design, Creative/Concept-Driven Design, Interactive & Responsive Design, Motion Graphics, Brand Communications; 

- Able to develop and organize concepts/design directions & present them back to the team internally; 

- Comfortable taking direction from and collaborating with team members across a variety of disciplines; 

- Highly organized and comfortable with rapid iterations, presentations, & deadlines; 

- Assignments may incl. pitch-book design, experiential concepting, brand identity, concept pre-viz/photoshop compositing. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

- Must be on-site in NYC; 

- Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite (PSD, AI, Keynote); 

- Basic understanding of 3D prompt engines & AI image generation; 

- Interest in Motion Graphics and/or 3D Design, desired; 

- Ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in a design studio.

Budget Pay Range

$1,400 - $2,000 Weekly
