Freelance Operations and Marketing Coordinator

20-30 hours per month on a negotiable retainer fee


Background:

Todo Verde is an award-winning Vegan Mexican food seasoning brand founded in Los Angeles, California by Chef and Cookbook Author Jocelyn Ramirez. Our team  is looking for freelance operations and marketing support to augment our operations, wholesale, and branding/ marketing/ sales efforts.



You’d be consistently: 

  • Strategizing, Canva designing, and sending out email newsletters 
  • Conducting brand and influencer collaboration research and reach outs
  • Managing an existing strategic planning calendar to coordinate details of sales, promotions, and ongoing audience engagement 
  • Assisting with Shopify operations including running discounts, updating product photos, and editing copy


You’d sometimes:

  • Write blog articles based on industry / company news 
  • Assist with wholesale/buyer forms for the brand’s retailer partnerships



You’re good at:

  • Being a proactive communicator and self-managing / running with projects after training
  • Designing and creating graphics according to brand standards
  • Systems thinking and being tenacious when tackling new projects


Not necessary, but added points for:

  • Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Faire
  • Experience with Meta ad analytics
  • Excitement about or experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
  • Spanish-speaking 


We’re  a very friendly, collaborative team that supports each other personally & professionally. We usually meet weekly to discuss ongoing objectives, but there would be an initial ramp up period with more meetings than usual to onboard.


This role starts off at 20-30  hours per month, as a 1099 contract role. As our business grows, so could the role if we mutually decide we’re the right fit for each other. This is a remote position open nationwide, but our founder is based in LA and generally operates on PT.
