You'll get hands-on experience writing copy for real-world companies. You'll learn the finer details of SEO, the psychology of buying, and how to inspire and evoke emotion through precise word choices. You’ll have the opportunity to write copy for the web, ads, emails, and more, all while receiving guidance and training to constantly improve your abilities.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Junior Copywriter include:
- Collaborating with the Senior Copywriter on how to reach the client's core message and target audience
- Brainstorming visual design and copy concepts with other members of the creative team
- Writing copy for specific purposes, audience members, and products or services
- Writing marketing emails, landing pages, ad copy, website pages, and more
- Absorbing constructive feedback and modifying copy to enhance the end product
Qualifications
The candidate for this position must be:
- A native English speaker
- An excellent writer
- Eager to learn more about copywriting
- Excited about the idea of making a living from what you create with your own mind
Compensation
Please include with your application your requested rate for:
- a single About page on a website
- a single marketing email including subject lines and preheader
Compensation will be commensurate with skill. In most cases, we will do our best to accommodate your requested rate.
