Packaging Production Artist

Our client, a global retail manufacturer, is hiring a Packaging Production Artist with 5+ years experience, to join their team for a full-time, 6 month contract. Computer equipment provided.

Responsibilities:

- Global team and local area collaboration

- Brand and marketing asset execution

- Creates print ready production packaging and graphics in line with Global direction

- Coordinates with the Production Manager, Lead Production Artist and Marketing Operations and Packaging Center to ensure timely execution of the packaging cycle plan

Qualifications:

- 5+ years experience in Packaging Production is required, preferably CPG Packaging Production

- Very knowledgeable with prepping a project for press, ie gathering information that is not necessarily provided and trouble shooting conflicting information

- Very comfortable in a fast paced environment, working with a high volume of sku's on a daily basis

- Knowledgeable with pre-press printing process and technologies and how it affects different substrate materials

- Knows how to set up files for print: die line creation, layout, typography, color palettes and processes

- High fluency in Illustrator and Photoshop

- Knowledgeable in Workfront and DAM system

- Having confidence in your work and seeking answers first, without asking questions

- Attention to detail

Location: Saint Louis, MO (Fully remote)

Hourly Rate: $35 - $38 / Hr
