Project Manager

Our digital consulting client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team on an on-going basis (possible full time for the right person). 

What you'll be doing as the Project Manager in this role:

- Being assigned to both net-new projects and work already in progress to get intimately acquainted with the project, understand the deliverables and taking ownership of tracking deliverable progress.

- Building a relationship with the client, managing expectations and establishing trust. 

- Running daily stand up with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring they are clear on responsibilities, deadlines and barriers are removed.

- Proactively mitigating risk and bringing forth solutions to keep engagement on track. Identifying and flagging risks that may influence quality, timeline and/or budget of project. 

- Running agile-like process (sprint-based but not formal agile delivery). 

- Working with remote teams. Ensuring clear communication (both written and verbal). 

Skills and Experience: 

- 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar role. 

- Deep understanding of a wide range of digital projects including how service design, human-centric design, development and strategy fit into the overall project.

- Proven experience managing stakeholders and establishing partnerships and trust.

- Proven experience delivering projects of high quality on-time and on-budget. 

- Experience managing teams who are geographically spread-out, including different time zones. 

- Pro-active problem solver.

Hourly Rate: $45 - $50 / Hr
