Senior Product Marketing Manager

Onward’s membership-only warehouse chain client is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager for a 4-6 month+ REMOTE (must live in the San Bruno area) contract.
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be a leading SME on a set of advertising products and solutions by transforming capabilities into key product value and benefits.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a revenue-motivated marketer who can establish product strategies that address customer needs, build strong cross functional relationships, and has a demonstrated track record of launching new products, influencing senior executives, and driving product adoption of innovative solutions. Experience working with digital marketing and insights and an understanding of the AdTech ecosystem covering DSPs, ad agencies, search, display, programmatic, video, creative, measurement, and e-commerce is preferred.
As the Senior Product marketing Manager, you will:
- Translate complex technology and product and engineering documents into compelling marketing materials.
- Working tightly with internal stakeholders to create and implement GTM strategies and tactics including positioning, use cases, sales enablement materials, sales pitch decks, case studies, customer collateral, quarterly business reviews, and story narratives for new product releases and enhancements focused on product adoption and revenue growth.
- Develop and lead sales trainings sessions as the product expert, partnering closely with marketing and training teams as part of internal awareness and education.
- Develop category insights and case studies for solutions selling and product marketing materials.
- Work and partner with product management to align with customer needs and challenges to transform into product features and benefits and launched effectively with our sales teams.
- Support the planning and execution of various new product programs launches at various life cycles including alphas, betas, and general availability stages.
- Conduct, aggregate, and analyze research into insights and action
- Be an advocate and voice of the customer by leveraging primary and secondary intelligence and research to get an in-depth understanding of customer segments and markets and sharing with internal teams.
- Partnering with product stakeholders to support the development of MRDs and PRDs to define product priorities and requirements.
- Help develop thought leadership on market and competitive trends.
Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in product marketing. 3+ years in digital advertising or B2B software
- 3+ years of experience in marketing or marketing communications
- Preferred expertise and experience in the adtech, martech and related technology ecosystem including digital media, SaaS, and agencies
- Solid understanding of DSPs, search advertising, API and agency partners, audience targeting, keyword targeting, and optimization leveraged by advertisers and brands
