THE ROLE

We’re looking for a savvy Social Media Manager/Account Manager. This position reports directly to the Founder and requires independence, initiative, and creativity. It also offers a chance to gain great experience in social media, digital marketing, content strategy, and communications with our fun and innovative clients. There is potential for growth as we are prioritizing early team members as our future managers and directors.


You’ll spend your days developing innovative marketing campaigns, assisting our team with social media content, going out and creating content, and engaging with local business owners and foodies.


DETAILS

  • Full-time position based in the Bay Area
  • Reports directly to the Founder but is expected to display independence, initiative, and creativity
  • Work remotely with some in-person working sessions and on-site client meetings and content shoots in the Bay Area
  • Must be willing and able to travel to different locations in the Bay Area. Preferred if you have a car
  • FT Salary: $72k - $75k/year (DOE)

WHO YOU ARE

  • At least 2 - 3 years working in social media/digital marketing at an agency or in-house
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Experienced with managing multiple social media channels/client accounts at one-time
  • The ability to analyze data and trends
  • Excellent writing and communication skills 
  • Self-motivated project manager
  • Forward-thinker with the ability to work independently, thrive in an agency environment 
  • Energetic, creative, proactive and solution-oriented 
  • Ability to balance day-to-day execution and big-picture, strategic thinking
  • Must be fluent in social marketing best practices and tools across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok including the different insight tools associated with each
  • Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills with a knack for embodying a brand voice
  • Experience with managing a social media editorial content calendar, as well as community management across social media platforms


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating and tracking marketing campaigns and the associated KPI’s
  • Project management of client accounts
  • Managing a social media editorial calendar
  • Creating written and visual content for social media
  • Leading meetings with our accounts
  • Assisting with our in-person events in the Bay Area (a car isn’t required, but a method of transportation and the interest and ability to travel around the Bay Area is)
  • Handling outreach to influencers and creatives
