Our client is looking for someone with a social media portfolio that they can share.


As a Social and Paid Media Strategist, you are a talented and motivated professional with a B2B marketing strategy background and innovative solutions at your core. You’ll consult with internal clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships. You’ll collaborate with creative directors, cross-disciplinary teams, stakeholders and clients to develop and execute compelling marketing solutions and engaging ideas rooted in strategy that moves business forward.


Key responsibilities:


As a Social and Paid Media Strategist, you will partner with the Creative Director and consult with the internal clients to conceptualize creative social and paid media for external facing marketing campaigns. You’ll contribute your ideas on how to approach creative through your unique understanding of how a particular audience consumes content on a given platform. You’ll provide input into the work throughout the creative process, conceptualizing an approach that aligns with the goals in the creative brief and with larger market trends. You’ll stay up-to-date and educate the team on social media trends, best practices and technologies. To drive future success, you’ll define social and paid media KPIs and focus on retrieving data/results of a particular campaign or event. You will analyze data to make a case for future creative direction and deliver research findings in future pitches that support the work.


- Conduct consultations while navigating conversations with knowledge and insight toward business solutions

- Leverage creative briefs, storyboards and layouts to effectively develop social and paid media marketing campaigns that are persuasive and inclusive

- Conceptualize and execute social and paid media solutions that align with business objectives while offering elevated client and team experience

- Create clear and visually compelling campaigns, pitches and presentations

- Mentor creative team members in developing conceptual skills and provide constructive feedback to implement the project vision

- Evaluate analytics and metrics to gauge success of social media posts and paid media campaigns

- Research trends and best practices that relate to a target audience’s interests

- Work with marketers to plan campaigns based on data and research

- Help establish a cohesive social and paid media strategy across various channels to achieve high levels of user engagement


To qualify for the role, you must have:


- Digital portfolio demonstrating social and paid media marketing campaigns

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline or equivalent work experience

- Five-plus years of related experience as a social and paid media strategist or similar role

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience using social media platforms to build brand awareness

- Good understanding of social and paid media key performance indicators

- Ability to identify target audiences’ preferences and produce tailored content

- Excellent analytical skills with practical knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics/analytics

- Experience with web design, photo editing and publishing software including Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Teams (preferred)

- Excel at managing multiple projects, prioritizing milestones, and influencing clients and colleagues to deliver desirable solutions within time frame and budget

- Ability to leverage brand guidelines to develop a range of marketing initiatives while utilizing various procedures and processes

- Ability to understand the internal client’s objectives through active listening, advanced communication and diplomacy with colleagues

- Experience working in a fast paced, matrixed agency or in-house team environment to develop a range of initiatives

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify, resolve and overcome obstacles

- Sound business acumen to adapt while working alongside client-serving professionals

- Ability to skillfully liaison between groups of people to bring positive solutions that meet business objectives


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $32.45 to $36.91an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
