Hi! I'm Connor Barry, the owner of ACW Studios, a content marketing agency. ACW Studios' mission is to provide content strategies that create a human connection online while incorporating authority and credibility for an impactful and innovative experience. I have a history of over eight years in the marketing and advertising industry experience. After various roles, such as Senior Account Executive and Social Media Manager, I opted to hone my skill set to offer content marketing services. After all, content is king.
I teach businesswomen how to use branded content to connect with their audiences & grow their businesses. I'm the founder of GOWRKGRLS™, a brand consulting and strategy firm based in Atlanta, GA. I'm a strategist, copywriter, and content creator with 12 years of branding and digital marketing experience. I started my company to help DIY businesswomen like myself define what makes their businesses great, and convey that greatness so that their customers can relate! When I'm not hunched over my laptop or phone-scrolling, you can catch me passing the time with yoga, good food, good wine, and True Crime. Work with me for help with brand development, content strategy, digital marketing strategy, email marketing strategy, or product launch campaigns.

I am like a vibrant wildflower field. My vision for a sustainable future began as a single seed while I built my own Barbie Dream Houses by upcycling furniture magazines. This seedling grew into an architecture graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, a decade of marketing real estate to hundreds of the biggest brands, and a masters in branding from the School of Visual Arts. I flourish when projects sit at the intersection of the built and natural environment. I nourish my clients and co-workers with thoughtful insights and strategies for a better today and tomorrow. Mindful of the climate crisis, I am a glass-half-full gal who is a part of the 1% of the population that brings their own “glass” to the coffee shop. I believe that although one person can make a difference in the world through gradual change and reduced waste, a brand can make an impact.

:: waves hello :: I have the practicality of a farmer or arborist - my profession for most of my twenties - mixed with the humor, intellectuality, and whimsy of an eccentric art teacher. That means I'm not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get to work, but I do need a workplace that respects my independence, curiosity, and candor. If you need someone to write thoroughly researched yet entertaining pieces - whether that comprises blog posts, social media captions, website copy, expert articles, one-pagers, or short biographies - I can help! Here are a few "about me" personality cues: Favorite album - "Journey to Satchidananda" by Alice Coltrane. Favorite snack - popcorn. Favorite color - mustard yellow. Now it's your turn to tell me about yourself, your company, and your project!

I love marketing analytics almost as much as I love coffee. I am a marketing strategy expert with 20 years of experience building marketing infrastructure for small and medium-sized businesses and organizations. My boutique marketing agency, Woods MarCom, specializes in data-driven marketing strategy and innovative digital marketing tactics.
My mission is to empower women-owned businesses with their data. I apply search engine optimization (SEO) strategy to a client's website drive organic traffic to as website. Then, I apply conversion rate optimization (CRO) to increase the likelihood that leads will convert into paying customers. My goal = tangible results. I always tell my clients, "You're wisely creating systems in your business to help it flow automatically. SEO and CRO do the same thing with your website traffic." I love being active and spending time with my family. I’ve got an MBA and I’m a full marathon finisher. I’m also voted most likely to fangirl over a Lavender Lemon martini from someplace local here in Peoria, Illinois.

Dare I say, Web Design and I are like love at first sight. I attended Full Sail University in pursuit of a degree that best suited my talents and Web Editing was not a subject I believed I’d grow to love. In my professional past, I've taken on Furniture Sales, Lead Preschool Teacher, and even Optical Technician roles. In every role, I felt as though something was missing. Yes, I was good at them all; in fact, in the sales position my gross pay annually ranged from $30,000 - $50,000 a year. Many would say that's a decent living wage, and I agree, but I only felt content in these positions. In my latest sales role, I enjoyed helping families, students, and pet lovers bring to life their "Pinocchio"--the ideal versions of what they'd envisioned for their home. But it was the competitive aspect among co-workers I didn't enjoy as much. As a Web Designer, I realized that I could create these uniquely impressionable sites that'll potentially lead to a business' or individual's audience growth. As a Marketer, I strategize and maintain this growth to ensure a continuous level of success for my clients. In these roles, I'm finally able to do more than what I enjoy and I'm able to leave a legacy of smiles behind that'll hopefully be managed by my children for years to come.
