Web Designer

Position Overview

Our non-profit client is searching for a Web Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs while ensuring a seamless user experience.

Location: Fully remote, EST and CST time zones are preferred

Duration: 3 months to start, potential to extend; approx 20 hours/month 

$44 - $55 /hr

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Design and develop visually appealing and responsive websites using Figma, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve website designs.
• Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.
• Ensure websites are optimized for speed and performance.
• Work with developers to implement website designs and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Website Designer or similar role.
• Experience with responsive design, mobile incompatibilities and ensuring ALT text is correct. 
• Experience with design web forms including Titan.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with web design best practices and usability principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A portfolio showcasing previous web design projects.
